The entire package offered at this house was fantastic. Beautifully renovated, furnished and equipped. We were more than happy with our short stay, and are looking forward to a longer stay later in the season.
The house is on a very quiet street, but in the centre of the town, which has a nice restaurant and all essential facilities. There is a beautiful wine cave 50meters from the house, with a number of others in close proximity. There are plenty of walks in the countryside directly beside the house, and in the general area.
There are some lovely beaches nearby in Leucate and La Franqui, and Port la Nouvelle, offering both swimming , sailboarding and kite surfing. The general hinterland into the corbieres offers some great drives and visits to the cathar castles. There are plenty of restaurants in the nearby towns, and good quality supermarkets.
All in all, a great place to go.
